1. Scar Formation Process 

1. Inflammatory Phase (Day 1–4)
• Blood vessels constrict then dilate
• Redness, swelling, heat, pain appear
• White blood cells clean bacteria & damaged tissue

2. Proliferative Phase (Day 4–24)
• Fibroblasts produce collagen
• New blood vessels form (angiogenesis)
• Granulation tissue fills wound

3. Maturation Phase (Weeks–Years)
