POPU Tips (42)--Mapping Rule and Needle Selection Logic for Lip Shading

1.The One Mapping Rule You Can’t Skip in Hair Stroke Brows
To truly master the hair stroke brow technique, there’s one essential step that should never be overlooked:
When mapping with a red pencil, always follow the client’s natural hair growth direction.
If the natural hair flow is ignored during the design stage and the strokes are drawn according to personal habits, the final result will look unnatural. The strokes won’t flow consistently, the procedure becomes more challenging, and the desired “no-makeup” effect will be lost.
Instead of soft, realistic brows, the client ends up with brows that clearly appear artificial—defeating the very purpose of the hair stroke technique.
Hair stroke brows are not only about technical execution; they require keen observation, sensitivity to natural patterns, and respect for the client’s unique hair growth.
