PMU Tips(29)--How to improve Lip Blush Retention and whether swelling is normal for lip blush

PMU Tips(29)--How to improve Lip Blush Retention and whether swelling is normal for lip blush

1. Improving Lip Blush Retention: Mastering Angle and Stretching Techniques

Many artists who are just starting out with lip blush often encounter retention issues, particularly in the middle of the lip. One common reason for this is not adjusting our angle properly. While we may believe we are working at a 90-degree angle, the needle may not be making contact with the entire lip. To improve retention, it's essential to follow the curve of the lip while maintaining a 90-degree angle relative to that curve. Additionally, stretching the lip flat can help minimize the prominence of the curve. By implementing these techniques, you should see an improvement in retention.

2.Is this normal (swelling) for Lip blush?

Lip blush is a procedure that implants pigments into the lips for long-lasting color. It's generally a safe treatment; however, the lips have a significant blood and lymph flow, which can lead to swelling as a side effect. Many people experience swelling after getting lip blush, especially those with larger lips or lips that have had filler. This swelling typically subsides within an hour or two. The high blood and lymph flow in the lips means they have everything they need to heal quickly. So, don't worry—this swelling will calm down and go away in no time!
